What's Included When You Hire GlowGetter Lighting

By GlowGetter Lighting · July 10, 2026 · Omaha, NE

The short answer: everything. One all-inclusive price ($750–$4,000 for most Omaha homes) covers a custom design rendering of your home, commercial-grade LEDs that we own and maintain, professional installation by an insured crew, free in-season service if anything fails, January takedown, and off-season storage. You never buy a light, climb a ladder, or store a tote.

"So... what do I actually get?" It's the most sensible question anyone asks before hiring a holiday light company, and we love answering it — because the answer is the whole reason GlowGetter exists. Some services hang the lights and hand you the rest of the problem. Our promise is different: we do the work, you enjoy the wonder. Here's exactly what's inside every GlowGetter holiday lighting project, start to finish.

What does the design process look like?

Before a single strand goes up, you see your home glowing. Every project starts with a custom design rendering — a picture of your actual house wearing the proposed lighting, so you can react to something real instead of imagining. Want the gables outlined? The maple wrapped? Warm white instead of multicolor? We adjust the rendering until you love it, and what you approve is exactly what we install. One of our Google reviews says it best: "Great communication, fair price. Sent us a mock up of look and helped us determine final look. So excited for the Holiday season!!!" — J. Schleff. That mock-up step is standard, not an upsell.

Whose lights are they — and why does that matter?

They're ours, and that's a feature. GlowGetter installs commercial-grade LEDs that we own, maintain, and stand behind — not consumer-store strands, and not lights you have to buy, replace, or babysit. Why it matters: commercial-grade product is brighter, more consistent in color, and built to survive Nebraska winters; and because the system is ours, every dark bulb is our problem to fix, not yours. You get a professional-quality display without ever owning a tangled box of anything.

What happens on install day?

An insured, trained crew installs your approved design — typically in a single visit. That means proper ladder work by people who do it every day, professional clips (never staples or nails in your shingles), precisely measured bulb spacing, straight lines along every peak and eave, and tidy cable management so the display looks clean in daylight too. Then comes the good part: the lights come on, and your house becomes the one people slow down for. As Michelle H. put it in her Google review: "Absolutely beautiful job on our Christmas lights! The team was professional, respectful, and communicated every step of the way. Our house looks magical—couldn't recommend them more!"

What if something fails mid-season?

We come fix it — free. In-season service is included in every package, so if a bulb goes dark or a strand fails in a windstorm, you call or text and we handle it. No climbing on an icy roof in December, no troubleshooting, no display that limps through January half-lit. Your lights are guaranteed to look right all season, because they're our lights and our reputation on your roofline.

Who takes it all down (and where does it go)?

We do, in January — takedown is included, and so is storage. Your display comes down carefully, gets packed and labeled, and lives in our storage (not your garage) until next season. That's the quietly wonderful part of the all-inclusive model: your holiday lighting simply appears in November and disappears in January, and the totes, the untangling, and the attic Tetris are permanently somebody else's job. Ours.
